PDG Helicopters working for Moors For The Future were featured on BBC Newsround this week. The innovative sphagnum reintroduction program currently underway was the main interest for the news feature and saw Newsround presenter Leah Gooding flying over the area where the work will take place by helicopter, and interviewed Moors for the Future programme manager Chris Dean at the summit of black Hill. She watched the Sphagnum beads being flown in and got to try out spreading for herself. The item will be broadcast some time this week.
