Aerial Filming - Castle Commando

Castle Commando is the latest BBC documentary to feature aerial aerial filming by PDG Helicopters.

The aerials were filmed using our Cineflex HD camera system, sites included the commando monument at Spean Bridge, and various other locations in Scotland that were used for commando training during the second world war.

In January 1942, the historic Achnacarry Estate was transformed into a wartime paramilitary academy. In four years of operation, twenty-five thousand men came to the Scottish Highlands to endure the world's toughest infantry training course.
